Chung Yang HTVs painted yellow
To enhance capacity for our customers, BigLift Shipping and Chung Yang Shipping agreed in the year 2019 to combine their Heavy Transport Shipping capabilities. The combined fleet of four Heavy Transport Vessels, commercially operated by the BigLift Shipping office in Amsterdam are committed to perform to the highest industry standard. This quartet of high class HTVs has been serving a variety of markets and clients, varying from the port utility market and EPC contractors to the renewables market. The HTV CY Interocean I completed her first special survey last June and changed into the new BigLift-CY colors. Sister vessel CY Interocean II will follow soon.
BigLift Baffin outfitted with DP2
We are happy to announce that our Heavy Transport Vessel (HTV) BigLift Baffin has been outfitted with a state of the art GE DP2 system during the vessel's recent dry-docking period in the port of Rotterdam. BigLift Baffin is the first vessel in our fleet with a DP2 system, enabling us to offer our clients DP2 offshore transport and supply solutions.
