Dear Reader,
We are happy to present to you the 44th edition of BigNews, showcasing the latest milestones, innovations, and global operations that define BigLift Shipping’s continued commitment to excellence in heavy transport.
This edition highlights the remarkable breadth and complexity of our recent projects. On the one hand, for instance, we successfully delivered Ørsted’s Offshore Converter Station topside for the Hornsea 3 project. On the other, we supported the first US-built wind turbine installation vessel, Charybdis. Through these and many other projects, our people have once again demonstrated their ability to execute technically demanding operations with precision and care.
We also shine a spotlight on the evolution of our Heavy Transport Vessel capabilities. With the establishment of a dedicated HTV Desk and the expansion of our fleet to a total of 6 HTVs by mid 2026 BigLift is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for modular transport solutions across the globe. These developments reflect our strategic focus on long-term partnerships and tailored project execution.
In this magazine, you will meet with our work on BP’s Cypre project, the Hai Long Offshore Wind Farm, and the delivery of mobile harbour cranes to Central America. These further projects illustrate the diversity of our operations and the strength of our engineering expertise. Each project did present its unique challenges – be they record-breaking cargo weights, complex stability requirements or tight operational windows – and each was met with the same commitment to safety, innovation, and client satisfaction.
As we set our sights on the future, we are driven by the trust placed in us by our clients, and by a shared ambition to shape a better, more sustainable world. Whether we are asked to move mountains across oceans or to power the infrastructure of tomorrow, BigLift Shipping rises to every challenge with purpose and dedication.
We wish you much enjoyment reading this edition of BigNews.
